Draft Tubes

Draft tubes (also called a diffuser tube or pipe) are placed at the exit of the turbine. They help increasing the turbine pressure head by decreasing the exit velocity which results in improvement of overall efficiency and the output of the turbine. The draft tube works by converting some of the kinetic energy at the exit of the turbine runner into the useful pressure energy.

We have expertise in manufacturing the following components of draft tubes:
